Hi there!
I’m Jenn, and I’m so glad you’re here. Photography has been such a huge part of my life for nearly two decades, and my work and personal self has evolved over time with my camera in hand. I’m so grateful to have this as my career and cannot thank my hundreds of clients enough for being a part of this journey with me.
I started j.woodbery photography in 2009 after my oldest son Edmond was born. I was a senior in college and needed a job, so I made a website to see what would happen, and have never looked back. In my own life journey, it’s been a rollercoaster of love and loss, but my camera has always been a steady presence. I found a love for intimate portraiture in every shape and form and love capturing all of the big emotions with my clients. Boudoir is such a big part of that, but I also love the cherished moments and memories of all kinds, including family sessions and small weddings and elopements.
My sweet children are a big driving force for me to keep pushing, and my partner stands with me through thick and thin. I love my house plants, trying new foods, my record player, and I’ve got a deep wanderlust and love of light.

Boudoir has been such a huge part of my business for the last decade, and even though I’m not currently in a studio space (rip 767) I’m so happy to still be able to offer it. Boudoir has truly changed me both personally and professionally. If you’re here to learn more about it, welcome! I know you might be a little nervous, or maybe even coming up with all of the reasons why you shouldn’t do a shoot, but I’m here to tell you that now IS the right time. Your body is beautiful the way it is right now. Where you are in life has purpose right now. It doesn’t matter what the scale says, it doesn’t matter what society says, it doesn’t matter what anyone else says. Boudoir, before anyone or anything else, is for YOU and no one else. Be willing to give that to yourself. We are here to help you get there! We are ready to transform your life and bring out your inner confidence. While our brand does have a heavy focus on boudoir, our main focus in everything we do is capturing the art of intimate moments. Snuggles with your family, celebrating new love, memories of life - we are here for every part of it!
Our wedding services include small weddings, elopements, and vow renewals. We can help curate your day to be exactly how you want it to be, and we create customized collections for each couple to best fit your needs and budget. We don’t use a shot list (except for family portraits!) or artificial light. We’re there to preserve the memories of the day exactly as they happen and make art. Your love story will look like a movie by the time we’re finished!
Our lifestyle shoots range for various portraits - family, engagement, maternity, newborn, seniors, and more. If it’s you and your people, we love it. Our approach to these types of sessions is similar to weddings - capturing the moments as they happen. We’ll give direction but also want you to share the snuggles and tickles and giggles to show the real moments! These can be in your home, an outdoor location, or somewhere special that’s meaningful to you.
